My purse is bleeding...

Bookstores need a restraining order against me so that I won't have to step into their premises again. You see, just this year, I've been buying books left and right. Not just novels, but pricely art books that I just couldn't resist buying because they were on sale (they still cost a lot since their original prices were way expensive). I also buy magazines and other books that catch my fancy. Anyway, this is such a huge dilemma for me since I always end up with nothing after every purchase. My compulsive buying habit is taking its toll on my wallet.
On the other hand though, I now have in my possession a rather impressive collection of books. No more Twilight and Harry Potter for me, sir. I'll probably highlight some of my favorites in future posts. 'Til then, a preview...

In the depths of hell...

Reading: Theo readings. ehehe
Listening to: Don't Tell Me - Avril Lavigne (I miss the old avril D:)

...week. Hi everyone! I'm right smack in the middle of finals week, and for some reason I get the urge to blog. Maybe just to let you know I'm still alive -unlike some other bloggers *cough*Matt Cara-*cough*. I wonder if he's still alive or if he's finally going to get married. (Btw, I DO have a bad cough and I hope it doesn't act up during my theo orals tomorrow).
Anyway, it's almost the end of the semester, and there have been some significant things that've happened since my last post. For one, I'm now the VP for Promotions and Logistics of CompSAt (my home org). I just love work that's related to promoting events and making sure they go smoothly through good logistical arrangements. Truth be told though, I backed out of applying only to be hooked back in again by some of the outgoing officers. I felt that I couldn't handle that much responsibility (plus I'll be letting go of my precious free time). I guess I really should start believing in myself more.
I also start my summer internship in two weeks! Don't know if I should be excited by this new experience or scared by the sudden responsibilities it might bring. Maybe I should be feeling both hehe. I'll be working at this company called Manly Plastics and I hope to bring a little bit of woman to it. ;)

I should probably get back to studying now. Theo awaits. ciao!
